From May 10 to 12, the leading international trade fair for rescue and mobility—RETTmobil for short—took place RETTmobil — took place. Over 450 exhibitors from more than 20 countries showcased new products and innovative solutions. This year, the exhibition grounds expanded by an additional 4,000 square meters, and of course, we at API Deutschland were there as well.
The event covered a wide range of topics. Trends such as digitalization and remote-controlled rescue equipment were of particular interest to visitors and the event’s patron, Boris Rhein, Minister President of the State of Hesse. Rescue robots and drones were presented in detail and tested live in realistic operational scenarios.
eVito and eBelingo at the API stand
As was the case last year, the topic of electric mobility played a major role. That’s why, in addition to the Mercedes eVito, we also showcased the Citroën eBelingo—equipped, of course, with versions of our FlexiRamp customized specifically for these vehicle types.
For the eVito, for example, we have designed a unique double-floor system (DFS). This system offers maximum flexibility in adjusting the height. For passengers, this means an even more comfortable and convenient experience.
We would like to thank all our visitors for the engaging professional discussions we had with many new and old acquaintances.
