GM Coachwork
Great British quality
UK company GM Coachwork started business in 1988 and concentrated at first on converting minibuses. They converted their first vans in 1993, starting with the Fiat Fiorino. Twenty years after they were founded, they built their first low-floor conversion in a VW Caravelle. Their low-floor conversions were extended over the years to include many other vehicles. Today, GM Coachwork is one of the UK’s the leading vehicle refitters.
Benefit from the experience and in-depth expertise we’ve acquired as a certified, authorised dealer of GM Coachwork products. We would be delighted to advise you.
We’ve had especially good experiences with the VW Caravelle SE Colorado and Ford Custom Colorado vehicles that GM has converted. That’s why we’ve provided a little more information about these two products.

The Colorado stands out above all for its generous headroom, both when getting in and whilst driving. The vehicle is suitable for wheelchair users as drivers and for wheelchair users as passengers. Thanks to the flexible interior configuration options, it is easy to change drivers at any time. It can even accommodate two wheelchair users.

The conversion in this van creates a level floor right across the vehicle and includes an underfloor lift specially designed for the needs of wheelchair users. It is based on the Ford Tourneo Custom Titanium, a vehicle with lots of features such as front and rear air conditioning, cruise control and an eight-inch touchscreen system.
