Stephan Schwartz
CEO
Managing Director Stephan has been involved in the conversion of vehicles for the disabled for over 25 years. He knows the industry like the back of his hand and keeps things running smoothly. Stephan always has an open ear for the concerns of customers, partners and, of course, his colleagues. When he's not in the office or in the car, Stephan is most likely to be found at the campsite.
Carsten Hinz
Robot-Expert
The one who dances with the robot - that's Carsten. As a technical supporter, he knows every circuit and every screw of our R11, ever since he joined the api team. Carsten has over 20 years of industry experience and travels a lot to help workshops from Iceland to Cyprus install his baby.
Jennifer Juhnke
Office Management
Jenny is responsible for office management and is a real multitasker. Depending on her needs, she is a talented organizer, accountant, contract designer, good spirit and sometimes all at once. As an authorized signatory Jenny represents api Germany when Stephan is camping again.
Sjoerd van der Wal
Distribution
Sjoerd is Distribution Manager at API DE GmbH – and, as a true ‘Flying Dutchman’, he spends a lot of time on the road, introducing customers to the Flexiramp and other exciting products. Before joining API, he worked for many years at various companies, where he gained a wealth of experience. He now draws on this expertise to provide our customers with the best possible advice.
In his spare time, Sjoerd likes to go for a run – preferably outdoors in the countryside. And on Saturdays, you’ll almost always find him at the football pitch, where he coaches his sons’ team.
Marco Schubert
Technical support
As a technical support specialist, Marco specialises in all matters relating to the FlexiRamp. Before joining api, he fitted our FlexiRamp into vehicles himself and therefore understands all the challenges faced by mechanics from his own experience. As a keen drone pilot, he sometimes even takes off himself and flies to our conversion partners to provide them with on-site support in person.
Michael Kopitzki
Distribution
He has been part of the team at API DE GmbH since October 2024. As Sales Manager for complete vehicles within the API Complete division, he is the point of contact for customers seeking well-thought-out mobility solutions.
He has many years of experience in the industry – he knows the Berlin area particularly well.
Luna
Feel Good Manager
Luna is a frequent guest in our office and usually lies at the feet of her master Marco. When master talks to customers for too long, she likes to get her pats in other offices. Their faithful eyes and the prompting nudges with the muzzle hardly anyone can resist.
