The ability to get about is one of the prerequisites for an independent and fulfilling life. We are API and we help people with disabilities to become and remain independent and self-reliant.
We are driven by the constant question: How can we make something good even better? We answer this question with over 25 years’ experience and innovative ideas for adapting cars for people with disabilities. This is what we mean by our slogan “Conversion without limits” – and it’s what we live by.
API fulfils people’s needs by converting disabled-friendly vehicles
Through our ongoing dialogue with people with disabilities, we have a thorough understanding of their needs and the challenges they face on a daily basis. We draw on this knowledge, working in close collaboration with leading vehicle manufacturers, to develop and improve our FlexiRamp and Robot solutions. Both of these high-quality products transport people safely, reliably and comfortably to their destination – in countries across four continents.
Your dependable mobility partner
We belong to the internationally active API Group. Our parent company, API CZ, and our development and production department, are located in the Czech Republic. Alongside API Germany, this group of companies includes businesses in the UK and the United Arab Emirates.
As a retail and service business, we supply a Europe-wide network of authorised workshops with the FlexiRamp wheelchair ramp and Robot wheelchair loading aid. Both solutions are compatible with many of the vehicles made by Volkswagen, Skoda, Fiat, Ford, Toyota and France’s PSA Group (including Citroen, Peugeot and Opel).
We also sell products made by our partners. When we choose our partners, we apply the same quality standards as we do to our own products.
