REHACARE will be held in Düsseldorf from September 14 – 17, 2022. API Germany is of course represented with its own stand at the world’s largest trade fair for rehabilitation and care. Interested trade visitors and potential partners will find us in hall 6 at booth B64.
E-mobility in focus
As was the case at RETTmobil in May of this year, the focus at REHACARE will be on offerings related to the topic of e-mobility. In line with this, two interesting vehicles and matching conversions for handicapped people will be presented at the API booth.
On the one hand, visitors can look forward to the e-Rifter, the electric van from Peugeot. For this type of vehicle API has developed an extra kit of FlexiRamp. The highlight of this brand new offer is that no changes are made to the battery pack during conversion.
FlexiRamp for e-Rifter and Caddy 5
We also present Active FlexiRamp, developed together with our Swedish partner Bilanpassning , for the short version of Volkswagen’s Caddy 5. Anyone who wants to know what challenges there were to overcome in the development phase can find out first-hand at the API booth, from Bilanpassning Managing Director Björn Kayser and API CEO Stephan Schwartz.
With this FlexiRamp, the floor pan cutout in the vehicle has been extended to the front behind the wheel. In combination with the electric trunk lid, this conversion is perfect for active drivers, i.e. wheelchair users who want to drive their vehicle themselves. Highly officially tested anchoring systems ensure the necessary safety for the driver.
This FlexiRamp design is so flexible that there is even room for another wheelchair user with his wheelchair in the passenger seat. Conversion from standard seats to wheelchair and back again is simple and done in a short time.
REHARCARE for the first time in three years
Due to the forced break by Corona, REHACARE will be held live at the Düsseldorf exhibition center for the first time since 2019. In the capital of North Rhine-Westphalia, you can find out everything you need to know about aids for people with disabilities.
The industry is looking forward to exchanging ideas with colleagues and trade visitors, to new contacts and great innovations from exhibitors from all over the world. Tickets are available on the website www.rehacare.de.
Curious now? Then get your ticket now. We look forward to seeing you at API booth B64 in hall 6 at REHACARE 2022 in Düsseldorf.
